What is the SAX?

The SAX (Cheers! Love & Network, from the Catalan, Salut, Amor i Xarxa) is the yearly guifi·net meeting. The goal is to gather together all the community participating, discuss about the project (not only in technical terms, but also social and organisational) and open it to the participation of the public in general.

Who is the SAX for?

The SAX is an event open to everyone, both for the guifi·net community and for people with an interest on technology, networks and the Internet, collaborative economy projects, commons, etc.

Everybody is welcome to participate in the SAX2016!

What will there be at the SAX2016?

There will be many activities during the SAX2016: talks, workshops, presentations, debates, etc. where members of the guifi·net community will participate (volunteers, professionals, end users, etc.) as well as the guifi·net Foundation. The activities are about guifi·net and the Commons Network, and are targeted at a wide range of attendees with heterogeneous interests and knowledge regarding technology.

When and where will the SAX2016 be?

The SAX2016 will take place on the 18th and 19th June 2016 at the Parc Tecnològic de Nou Barris, in Barcelona. If you need assistance to get there or to find accommodation, the organization can lend you a hand.
